After almost 12 months of planning, over five-hundred players have taken part in the Victorian Aboriginal Community Services Ltd. (VACSAL) State-wide Basketball Classic.
112 teams were registered for the event at the Mildura Sporting Precinct and AusLoans Mildura Hothouse with organisers saying the event as a whole brought up to four-thousand people to town across the Labour Day long weekend.
The Mildura International Tennis Tournament and Australian Wingless Sprint Title also drew large crowds in what was reported as a busy weekend for local accommodation providers.
