Swan Hill Rural City Council has received a planning permit application to partially demolish the Robinvale Hotel, while keeping the bottle shop.
The historic pub was destroyed by fire in 2015 and has been empty since.
The council says a permit’s required due to a heritage overlay on the building.

While the advertising for the application has closed on Monday, the council will consider any objections it receives before making a decision during a meeting on May 20.
