A local football club is one of three hundred across the state to share in Victorian funding to promote road safety in their community.
The Transport Accident Commission’s announced the recipients of the TAC Club Rewards Program in partnership with AFL Victoria.
Merbein footy club will receive up to ten-thousand dollars.. encouraging its members and the community on road safety and promote safe behaviours on the roads.

Nhill and District Sporting Club near Swan hill was also a recipient of funding from the $700,000 fund.
This year the focus was on speeding.
