A Broken Hill man’s legal team is set to apply for animal cruelty charges to be dismissed due to mental health issues.
A 20-year-old man’s team submitted guilty pleas to five charges of animal cruelty in court on Tuesday according to the ABC.
It follows videos on social media showing acts of cruelty towards animals, including kicking a goat and punching a kangaroo.

His legal team telling the court they would apply to have the charges dismissed without a conviction at his sentencing on July 30.
