Funding announced for health worker housing in NSW

More than five million dollars has been announced for health worker housing in areas of New South Wales including Wentworth, Dareton and Buronga.

The New South Wales Government says the Key Health Worker Accommodation Program is about recruiting and keeping workers and their families in rural and remote locations by offering a range of housing options.

Member for Murray Helen Dalton says it’s critical to keep health workers in her electorate, and a boost in accommodation facilities will hopefully encourage more key health workers to remote and rural locations.
