Swan Hill Rural City Council is asking the community, are you fire ready?
CFA (Country Fire Authority) are running a series of Get Fire Ready Workshops in the Swan Hill Council region to help the community prepare for the upcoming fire season.
The workshops will operate at the Swan Hill Showgrounds, Friday 3 October, 9:00am to 6:00pm, Robinvale Community Arts Centre, Sunday 5 October, 9:00am to 12:00noon and Lake Boga Fire Station, Sunday 12 October, 9.30 to 11:00am.
Council says locals can learn how to prepare their property, make a fire plan, and keep their family safe this summer.
Everyone is welcome, so residents are being urged to drop in and get fire ready.
