Transport for New South Wales will be asked to consider a High Pedestrian Activity Area for a section of highway in Dareton.
Wentworth Councillors last night voted to write to the NSW authority for a speed zone review for the town’s centre.
A report says the speed zone on the Silver City Highway has been an issue over the last few years, with concerns over the increased volume of traffic, specifically heavy vehicles.
