Calls for more water safety education

There’s more calls for further water safety education, after a new report has shown a significant decline in children’s swimming skills.

New Royal Life Saving research shows half of Year 6 students are falling below the National Swimming and Water Safety Benchmark.

Tragically the Murray River remains a known drowning hotspot.
