A sport hub slated for the Buronga and Gol Gol area has received a large amount of support, after the 90-million dollar proposal was discussed at Wentworth Shire Council’s meeting.
A report tabled at the meeting showed close to 75 per cent of respondents were in favour of delivering the project on Carramar Drive.
It would see an expansion plus an upgrade of current facilities, including two new footy ovals, tennis courts, netball courts and an indoor leisure centre.
