Balranald Shire Council Mayor, Cr Louie Zaffina, has announced the appointment of Mr Terry Dodds PSM as its new permanent Chief Executive Officer.
“The Council faced a difficult decision after receiving applications from many suitable candidates. After a rigorous process, the final decision was unanimous.” Cr Zaffina said.
Mr Dodds has almost three decades of senior leadership experience in local government, including as CEO at Murray River and Tenterfield Shire Councils in NSW, and more recently as CEO of Livingstone Shire in Queensland.
Following the decision, councillors thanked Terrey Kiss and Steven Pinnuck from Local Government Services Group for their assistance with the recruitment process.
Terry Dodds will commence work on Monday October 27, 2025.
