A man has been bailed over his alleged involvement in an armed robbery in Mildura back in August.
The man faced the Mildura Magistrates Court over his alleged involvement in the theft of cash, jewellery and a bank card from a man while armed with an axe.
The court heard the man and a co-accused had attended a property on Seventh Street with the intention to buy drugs, but when the victim changed his mind, the two men armed with an axe and a cricket bat turned on him, according to the Sunraysia Daily.
The victim was allegedly struck with the bat while the accused stood by holding the axe.
The pair then allegedly stealing cash, a necklace and a bank card, used for purchases and to transfer money into another bank account.
The magistrate deferred a sentence and releasing the accused on bail.
