Mildura Rural City Council welcomed around 40 new migrants and refugees to their new home in Mildura yesterday morning with a special morning tea at their Deakin Avenue offices.
Mayor Helen Healy and CEO Martin Hawson joined Council staff in mingling with the guests, who were given a presentation to help them get to know their new city, the services that Council provides and how to go about enjoying all that Mildura has to offer from sports to arts, education, our wonderful food, parks, gardens and many other local facilities.
Council has offered a warm welcome to all.
