A Community Open Day planned for the new Red Cliffs Early Years Hub will provide a chance for the community to explore the new Hub ahead of the 2026 school year.
Locals will be able to check out the new community spaces and visit the Sunraysia Toy Library’s new home this Sunday 7 December from 10:00am to 1:00pm.
A free community barbecue and children’s activities are also planned.
The project, supported by a $6 million grant from the Victorian School Building Authority’s Building Blocks program, replaced the previous kindergarten and Maternal and Child Health buildings, and was completed in March of this year.
Key features include:
- Four kindergarten rooms which have doubled the number of local children attending kindergarten programs in Red Cliffs
- Two Maternal and Child Health (MCH) and allied health consulting rooms, providing a state-of-the-art facility for MCH nurses to serve Red Cliffs families
- Toy Library facilities – creating a modern and permanent home for the Sunraysia Toy Library
- Multi-use community space
- Breastfeeding room
- Large foyer area
An upgraded kindergarten playground and new community outdoor space has also been delivered as part of the project.
