Enjoy the community spirit at one of the many Australia Day celebrations across the Mildura region.

Celebrate our national day with a BBQ breakfast, a glass of fresh orange juice and the company of fellow Aussies, sharing in the spirit of the day.

Mildura 

Nowingi Place, Hugh King Drive, Mildura 8-10.30am

Come join us at Mildura’s riverfront for the Australia Day celebrations hosted by Mildura Rural City Council.

Starting bright and early the event celebrates our Australia Day Award winners and welcomes our new citizens.

There will be plenty to enjoy with band, Off the Chai performing, as well as food vendors and family activities.

Henna tattoos, face painting, backyard cricket and a jumping castle are just a few of the fun activities to enjoy.

The program includes:
7.30am Breakfast
7.35am Musical performance by Off the Chai
8.45am Flag raising ceremony
9.05am Speech by Australia Day Ambassador Craig Opie
9.15am Citizenship Ceremony
9.45am Australia Day Awards
10am Musical performance by Off the Chai

Food vendors and family activities from 7.30am-11am.

Red Cliffs

Come along and celebrate Australia Day 2019 with a fantastic cooked breakfast for only $5 and entertainment.

Irymple

7.30am—10am

Irymple Lions will hold a BBQ breakfast, with fresh fruit and juice, tea and coffee by gold coin donation from 7.30am-9.30am.

Local Citizen of the Year will be announced and the raising of the flag happens at 8.00am.

There will also be local entertainment.

Merbein Australia Day Breakfast and Awards

Kenny Park, (Old Croquet Club Area) Merbein.

8am-11pm

Enjoy a delicious cooked breakfast, fruit, tea & coffee.

Great live entertainment.

Breakfast will be served following the raising of the Flag at 8.05am.

Bring a chair, sunscreen and hat.

Cullulleraine

Bushman’s Rest Caravan Park. Lake Cullulleraine, Sturt Hwy, 12pm

The Bushman’s Rest Caravan Park will be hosting a free BBQ lunch with children’s activities and entertainment by a local band.

Colignan

Community Recreation Reserve (AKA the Mud Hut), 9am-12pm

Enjoy a community breakfast with bacon, eggs, tomatoes, fresh fruit, tea, coffee and orange juice, supplied by the Colignan Community Committee.

Free jumping castle for the kids and the pool will be opened for free swimming afterwards.

Gold coin donation.

Local children will do the flag raising.
