Police in Renmark have caught two offenders attempting to steal a car and in possession of stolen tool Wednesday.
At 5.20am Wednesday, November 12th, police were on patrol on Murray Price Drive when they spotted a man in the driver’s seat of a Ford station wagon attempting to steal the car.
A short time later a second man approached the vehicle carrying a fuel can and assorted tools.
The man in the driver’s seat, a 33-year-old man from Renmark was arrested and charged with illegal interference, property damage and theft.
He has been bailed to attend the Berri Magistrates Court on 22 December.
The 24-year-old from Sailsbury North was reported for theft and will appear before court at a later date.
