Murray Mallee police have over the weekend stopped numerous drivers committing traffic offences.
A 52-year-old man from Monash was reported for allegedly driving with a blood alcohol reading of 0.091. He was issued a six-month instant loss of licence notice.
A 20-year-old man from Waikerie was reported for allegedly driving with a blood alcohol reading of 0.099. He was issued a six-month instant loss of licence notice and the car was impounded for 28 days.
A 31-year-old male from Renmark was reported for driving disqualified and disobeying a stop sign.
A further six drug driving offences were detected between 1 November and 3 November in the region.
A 62-year-old woman from Barmera tested positive to methamphetamine and driving unlicensed. She was issued a 28-day instant loss of licence notice.
A 24-year-old man from Victoria tested positive to cannabis and was issued a three-month instant loss of licence notice.
A 38-year-old man from Victoria tested positive to methamphetamine. He was issued a three-month instant loss of licence notice and given a speeding fine.
Once a forensic analysis has been completed, it is likely the drivers will all be reported for drug-driving.
