Christmas postage dates announced

Australia Post has announced the last sending dates to help ensure deliveries within Australia and overseas arrive in time for Christmas.

Within Australia:

• Parcel Post parcels to be sent by Monday 22 December (same state) and Friday 19 December (interstate)
• Express Post parcels to be sent by Tuesday 23 December
• Letters and cards to be sent by Thursday 18 December (same state) and Tuesday 16 December (interstate)
• Sending to and from Western Australia, Northern Territory, Tasmania, or regional and remote locations should allow a few extra days.

 International (depending on the location):

• Economy Air: 21 November – 5 December
• International Standard: 28 November – 12 December
• International Express: 5 – 18 December
