Wentworth Shire Council has advised the residents and businesses of Gol Gol, Buronga and Dareton (including Mourquong and Namatjira) that filtered water supply will be unavailable due to critical works at the Midway Tower for the following 8 hour period; 10:00pm, Wednesday 3 September to 6:00am, Thursday 4 September 2025.
Wentworth Council is asking residents to plan ahead for the outage, such as not scheduling water use (showers / washing) during the outage period and to have buckets of water available for toilet flushing.
Raw water supply will not be impacted by the works.

Council has apologised for any inconvenience caused while these critical works occur.
