A Mildura man who bashed a woman after she refused to have sex with him has been jailed.
According to the Herald Sun the man attacked the woman after she rejected his demands.
The court heard he punched the victim in the face and shoved his fingers in her throat, which resulted in bruising and dental damage.

The victim telling the court she was afraid he would kill her when he is released from prison.
The man in his police interview showed no remorse for the incident, referring to the victim as a nutcase.
With a guilty plea, the man was handed a four month prison sentence with 62 days reckoned as time served, and a 12 month community corrections order.
